Only a good researcher can give updated information to students within and beyond the curriculum. Moreover, research productivity is considered one of the key performance indicators in the academic evaluation and accreditation process. Unlike the earlier decades, in the recent past, there has been significant motivation among the academic community towards improving their quality, and the increasing numbers of candidates enrolled for master and doctoral programs in various universities testify this fact. Thus, research excellence has become a necessity rather than merely a symbol of prestige.
