The current era witnesses a booming trend of higher education institutions (HEIs), scientific research, and a highly competitive professional environment. However, the following facts are worth noting:

  • While the number of HEIs is increasing dramatically, their global recognition in terms of academic quality & accreditation is a serious concern. Most of the HEIs both in public and private sectors need adequate guidance and training to equip themselves to meet the national and international quality standards.
  • Most private universities are aiming for autonomy status. However, accomplishing autonomy and maintaining it are challenging.
